Exam Name: CDS (Combined Defense Services)

Criteria of age:
Indian Military Academy (IMA): 19-24 years
Training Academy Agents (OTA): 19-25 years
Air Force Academy: 19-23 years
Naval Academy: 19-22 years old
Marital Status: Single /

Pedagogical qualification:

IMA and OTA: degree from a recognized university or equivalent
Naval Academy: B.Sc. With Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
Air Force Academy: B.Sc. Physically and / or mathematics or bachelor’s degree in engineering
Exam model: written exam, followed by a personal interview (intelligence and personality test) and a medical examination

Preparation time: time spent is recommended for at least six months

A little CDS

Combined defense services (CDS) is a review by the Union Civil Service Commission (UPSC). This test allows candidates to be recruited in:
Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun for the Permanent Commission in the Indian Army
Officers of the Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai for short commission in the Indian Army
Goa Naval Academy for the Commission in the General Services of the Indian Navy
Air Force Academy, Begumpet, Hyderabad for the Air Force Commission of India

Preparation tips

To prepare for English, one can develop the habit of reading the newspaper regularly. Reading the journal improves not only vocabulary, but also knowledge about the subject
