The latest on the death of a man and four children outside of Atlanta (all local times):
Authorities have identified the father and four children who were fatally stabbed in a house on the outskirts of Atlanta.
Gwinnett County police cape. Michele Pihera identified the victims in a statement Thursday night, Martin Romero, 33, Isabela Martinez, 10, Dacota Romero, 7, Dillan Romero, 4, and Axel Romero 2 years. .
The mother of the children, Isabel Martinez, 33 years old, was arrested and charged in the murder.
The children and Martin Romero were found dead Thursday morning in a house in Loganville. A 9-year-old girl identified as Diana Romero Couces survived and remained in a serious but stable state in a hospital, Pihera said.
Police said Martinez was cooperating with investigators, but the motive for the crimes has not yet been published.
Atlanta Metropolitan Police have filed charges of murder against a mother suspected that she fatally stabbed four of her children and the child’s father.
The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, said Isabel Martinez, 33, is being held without bail in the county jail. Authorities say Martinez faces five counts of low-vision murder, as well as five counts of murder and six counts of aggravated assault.

Police reported that he had received a call to 911 from a woman who spoke Spanish and was inside the house. They believe that Martinez made the call.
